T hank you for visiting our web site and reading my bio.  I'm a native Texan, having been born in Tyler, TX, July, 1952.  I have lived in Texas all my life and during that time I have gained unique insight which can help any client who needs legal defense services. I primarily practice in the areas of criminal defense and personal injury plaintiff's law. I am a former Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) state trooper and supervisor with over twenty years of experience in law enforcement.  My knowledge of the laws pertaining to Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), Driving Under the Influence (DUI), Boating While Intoxicated (BWI), driver's license suspension issues, and drug trafficking and possession of controlled substance charges can be invaluable. I am familiar with a lot of nuances when it comes to Driving While Intoxicated; issues most attorneys miss.  I'm also very good at cross examination of law enforcement officers because of my training and experience.  I was the instructor for the instructors when it come to Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFST's).  I also have a great amount of experience with breath testing and have tried a number of cases to an effective conclusion.
